Calculation methodology
How SiCalcs computes and explains results
Definitions and units
Each calculator states its main input assumptions, units and calculation method. Mathematical formulas are implemented in JavaScript and results are rendered on the device. Display rounding should not be confused with the full internal numerical precision.
Verification and examples
Where practical, worked examples are included so visitors can independently reproduce a result. We recommend comparing financial formulas with loan-provider documents, health screening rules with qualified guidance, and unit standards with official measurement definitions.
Limitations
Financial tools typically exclude real-world fees and taxes unless requested explicitly; health calculators are approximate screening or reference equations, not diagnoses; school and legal policies may differ by jurisdiction. See the relevant calculator page for specific limitations.
Corrections
If a formula, example or navigation control seems wrong, please report the calculator, inputs and expected output using the Contact page. Changes should be reviewed and retested before publication.
